1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Storypop AI (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Storypop AI is a paid, subscription-only mobile and web application that lets users create a reusable AI character from a photo, generate scripted UGC-style videos with AI, edit them within the app, and publish or schedule them to connected social media accounts.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account. By using Storypop AI you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Account registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

5. Subscriptions & billing

  • Storypop AI has no free tier. Access requires an active paid subscription (Creator, Pro, or Business).
  • Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Paystack (Nigeria) or Stripe (international), and renew automatically until canceled.
  • Each plan includes a monthly video-minute allowance. Allowances reset on your billing date and do not roll over unless stated otherwise.
  • If your allowance is exhausted, you may upgrade your plan or purchase additional AI credits to continue generating video.
  • Failed payments may result in suspended access until payment is resolved.
  • You may cancel, upgrade, or downgrade your subscription at any time from Settings; changes take effect according to the billing terms shown at the time of the change.

6. Your content

Your uploads: You retain ownership of photos, voice samples, and other materials you upload.

AI character & generated content: Subject to your active subscription and these Terms, you own the AI-generated characters, videos, scripts, and other content produced through your account, and may use them for personal or commercial purposes according to your plan (see plan details for commercial-usage terms on the Business plan).

License to us: You grant Storypop AI a limited license to process, store, and use your uploaded and generated content solely to operate, provide, and improve the Service, including sending it to AI providers for generation purposes.

Your responsibility: You are solely responsible for the content you upload and generate, and must have the rights to any photo, voice, brand, or likeness you use — including confirming consent if uploading someone else's photo or voice.

7. Prohibited uses

You may not use Storypop AI to:

  • Upload a photo or voice of another person without their consent.
  • Create content that is unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, or infringes on others' rights.
  • Impersonate real individuals in a misleading or harmful way.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the underlying AI systems.
  • Circumvent usage limits, credits, or subscription controls.
  • Violate the terms of any connected social media platform when publishing.

8. Social media publishing

When you connect a social media account, you authorize Storypop AI to publish or schedule content on your behalf, using each platform's official API. You are responsible for ensuring published content complies with that platform's own terms and community guidelines. You may disconnect any account at any time.

9. Service availability & AI limitations

AI generation depends on third-party providers and may occasionally fail, be delayed, or produce imperfect results. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or a specific generation outcome, but you will not be charged video-minute allowance for failed generations that do not produce usable output.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or unlawful use. You may delete your account at any time from Settings, which will permanently delete your uploaded media, AI characters, and associated personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that generated content will achieve any particular result, engagement level, or platform performance.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Storypop AI is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
